Pearl Street Station, specializing in cajun and barbecue, is located one block West of Granbury’s Historic Square in a renovated 1933 Sinclair Station. The food is excellent and the ambiance quaint and casual.
Four parking spots are available on the left side of the restaurant – if they are taken, you can be dropped off by the front door while your companion parks in the square. The entry is flat with no steps and an outdoor eating area welcomes you into the restaurant. The inside is small and a bit crowded – a wheelchair might have some difficulty, but the owners aim to please and will move things around to make sure you are comfortable.
The restroom is adequate, but again, might not work for a wheelchair as you need to go down a hall and make a sharp right turn to get to it. Additionally, the bathroom itself is fairly small and may not allow a wheelchair to turn. The sink is accessible, but grab bars were not in place at the time this blog was written. Those with crutches or a walker will be fine. Accessible restrooms are available close by on the square, so visit them before you go to the restaurant.
