Summary

The Historic Nutt House Hotel, built in 1893, is a beloved gem located on the Granbury Square. This inviting and rustic hotel features seven uniquely different luxury suites, each with expansive spa-like baths. Breakfast is included daily.

Unfortunately, the hotel is not accessible for most of us with mobility issues. A building this age is not required to be ADA compliant.

The first barrier to access is a beautiful grand staircase with many steps that must be climbed to get from the downstairs store to the hotel. If you are lucky enough to be able to do steps, you might be ok once upstairs as the rooms and bathrooms are spacious as long as you are able to make do with the facilities available. Grab bars are not installed in the bathrooms and the tubs/showers are not accessible. If you need more accommodations, I recommend you stay at one of the other nearby hotels or B & B’s.

Lovely hotel, but not appropriate for wheelchair users.
