Local Goat Distillery is located just a few blocks from the Square on North Houston Street. The owners, Roger and Jessica Wall, are working around the clock to get the facility ready to open. This venue promises to be a unique and fun experience for both locals and tourists! They will offer tours of the distillery where vodka, gin, rum, bourbon and whiskey are made, which will include colorful stories about Granbury’s history. A mixology bar will feature flaming drinks and liquid nitrogen for herb infusion. A Bar-B-Q Bloody Mary made with hand crafted bourbon barrel aged sorghum syrup is one of Local Goat’s specialty drinks. Food catered from local eateries will be available for purchase. Request the schedule for the Goat Yoga classes when you go!

The Walls met in Wisconsin while in the military, but both are Texas natives. After years of creating much loved creations for family and friends, creating the Local Goat Distillery is a dream come true. They are sensitive to the needs of the community and very much want their facility to be accessible for all. They did a good job with the renovations and most of those with disability issues will be comfortable here. The only real challenge will be securing a dining height table if needed as the bulk of the seating is bar height. Roger and Jessica suggested you call ahead to request one of the dining tables if you use a wheelchair and accommodations will happily be made for you.

Great Local Goat T-shirts are available now (and ON SALE) on their website
