Granbury, TX February 9, 2017 – Accessible Granbury is pleased to announce construction of their new website, AccessibleGranburyTx.com, is complete! The website is for individuals with mobility issues and their families, and rates venues for accessibility in Granbury on a five star rating system.
The website already contains a wealth of information about accessible dining, lodging, event, and public restroom options in Granbury, and new content is added daily. “I am passionate about creating a world in which everyone can participate” said Leslie Farin, owner/founder of Accessible Granbury.
The site also provides helpful and interesting content about travel, transportation, how to make homes and businesses more accessible, and resources for individuals with disabilities. The conversational tone and colorful graphics make for an enjoyable experience on the website.
The company was created when the owner, Leslie Farin, became frustrated with the barriers to access she encountered when traveling with her newly disabled mom, even in venues “advertised” as accessible. She found available online resources about specific venues to be limited and largely unreliable.Though other organizations exist that provide accessibility information, most rely on input from the public, which may or may not be correct, and often include only one or two options per specific area for a wide variety of locations.
AccessibleGranburyTx.com focuses instead on providing accurate and detailed information for an entire community. Advance planning when traveling with someone with a disability makes life much easier for all involved. About Accessible Granbury: AccessibleGranburyTx.com is the first of a series of websites created for individuals with mobility disabilities. The next project will focus on Fort Worth, Texas.
